    Innovative communication about innovation

How did Cargill become one of the main attractions at the Food Ingredients Europe expo?

Cargill is the world’s largest food ingredients company. Leading the way thanks to its focus on innovation. So Cargill wanted to really stand out at Food Ingredients Europe in Paris. Europe’s most important food ingredients expo.

Innovation was the main ingredient of this unique experience. We created the Cargill innovation hub, a virtual lab. Here, visitors were able to walk around and discover the latest prototypes. On 24 screens in a 360° configuration, they could see Cargill’s employees working in the lab in Vilvoorde. The videos were recorded using a motion control system. That gave visitors the feeling that they were right there in the lab.

If visitors were curious to find out more, they could watch presentations on iPads and a picture-in-picture layer over the video content. Needless to say, there was also space for one-on-one conversations.

That made the Cargill stand the undisputed main attraction at Food Ingredients Europe in Paris.

In at the deep end with Port of Amsterdam

How do you bring communication safely into harbour?

Port of Amsterdam has been independent since 2013. With its own vision for 2030 and a strategy for 2021. But how do you express that vision and strategy in terms of communication? To do this, NR6 – excuse the pun – came on board and collaborated with us closely and intensively.

With 15 representatives from the organisation, we took an in-depth look at the organisation. We worked on a content strategy in four intensive sessions. From the outside in! We also developed a visual language and updated the brand guide. Employees were guided through the ‘Rulebook’. So that they too were heading in the right direction.

We enhanced the brand identity with ‘Beacons’. Illustrations that sometimes clearly explain complex subjects. An amazing instrument for use in communication.

And did we have fun too? We certainly did. We made several (corporate) communications such as the the Annual Report, the Book of Figures, and the strategy and design of the new corporate website. And the campaign for the rules for water safety during Sail 2015 was a great hit. The rules were sung by a sailors’ choir!

    Water safety during SAIL 2015

During SAIL, the IJ will be filled from bank to bank with boat traffic. Hundreds of ships and boats from will come from every corner of the Netherlands and beyond to Amsterdam for the country’s greatest event. Centuries-old tall ships, modern naval vessels, thousands of pleasure yachts and even Amsterdam’s own ferry service will all be navigating criss-cross along the IJ. You can imagine that some rules will be necessary to let the sailing public know what to do – and what not to do. Without a reproachful tone, of course.

We have produced six fun animated videos to explain the most important rules, with a catchy tune that will linger in your mind long after SAIL has left the harbour.

    Watch (and sing) along!

Our people

The best people are what make a good agency

Who will be sitting across from you at the NR6 table? Is it important? We think so. After all, the reason that we have been on ‘the lists’ of the best agencies for years is that we always work with outstanding people. People who are good at their job because they love what they do (or even those who have a love-hate relationship with their work). We don’t customise the assignment to the team, but tailor the team to the assignment, using reliable, regular people and top talent from our network.

This means you can relax, sit back, and leave it to us. Perhaps this is why we have a long-term relationship with many customers.
